Jorgen Gundersen, Norwegian national triathlete

Jørgen Gundersen, born 1995, is from Jessheim, Norway.

He is a national team athlete on the Norwegian triathlete team. He is a very good swimmer and has won NM gold as recently as 2017. In triathlons he tends to be one of the first up from the water in triathlon competitions, regardless of the starting field level.

After a few years of injury, Jørgen had a good training period since 2017. It has produced good results. He won the Norwegian Championship in the normal distance in triathlon both in 2017 and 2018. In 2017 he received the King’s trophy. He is now aiming for Olympic Games in 2021.
